RECOMMENDATIONS
1.
Clean surface corrosion from the engine’s heat exchanger
at the raw water hose connections and from isolated areas
of the engine and transmission, inspect for deterioration,
service as required and paint to arrest any further corrosion.
2. Clean corrosion from the engine and galley raw water
supply through hulls and valves, inspect for deterioration
and service if/as required.
3. As I did not separate the shore power cord from the inlet;
inspect the connections for any corrosion and/or heat damage
and service if/as required.
4. Although not required; consider having the life raft
re-certified prior to any offshore cruising.
